The regional headquarters challenge
The Singapore close
starts across the region.
Group reporting depends on decisions made throughout the month: which entity owns the sale, how a related company records the purchase, when a credit reaches both ledgers and who resolves the difference. A consolidated total is only useful when finance can follow the records behind it.
We work from your entity relationships and transaction flows to a practical NetSuite design. Shared reporting rules, local review points and integration responsibilities are agreed together, so the Singapore finance function can coordinate the region without losing the local detail.
THE WORK CURIOUSRUBIK HELPS YOU DO
The regional picture.
The records behind it.
Open the detail. These are the decisions, handoffs and tangible outputs we can work through with your team.
01Entities, currencies and the group close
Give each consolidated number a clear route back to its source.
We map legal entities, reporting currencies, account relationships and close responsibilities. The design identifies the NetSuite OneWorld capabilities required, the local reviews to retain and the reconciliation evidence needed before figures reach the group view.
02Intercompany transactions and corrections
An invoice, its counterpart and the eventual settlement belong in one review.
We follow intercompany sales, purchases, charges and corrections across the participating entities. Matching references, timing differences, foreign-currency balances and elimination rules become explicit configuration and acceptance decisions. Accounting treatment is approved by your finance owners.
03InvoiceNow from record to response
Make invoice exchange and IRAS data submission visible in the same operating design.
We identify the invoice sources, relevant transaction types and supported InvoiceNow-Ready Solution or access-point connection. Field mapping, credit notes, rejected records, resubmission and reconciliation are scoped separately. Your applicable IRAS requirements and the selected provider’s capabilities determine the route.
04A regional rollout with local ownership
Set the reusable rules and the entity-specific review points before rollout.
We compare the group design with each entity’s operating needs, then define the first release and its dependencies. Finance owners review the sample outputs, integration exceptions and close checks before the design extends to further entities.
THE WORKFLOW · INTERCOMPANY TO CLOSE
Follow the transaction.
Explain the group result.
The intercompany review follows one connected chain: originating document, counterpart entry, correction, settlement and elimination. It shows where a difference enters the records and who has the information to resolve it.
- Mapped counterpart records and shared references
- Correction scenarios with named decision owners
- Reconciliation and elimination acceptance checks
We turn these inputs into a transaction map and reviewable test pack. Finance confirms the expected accounting treatment; the implementation scope defines the configuration, integration work and evidence needed for acceptance. InvoiceNow touchpoints are added where the transactions are in scope.
WHY CURIOUSRUBIK
A finance conversation
that reaches the warehouse.
Business process, NetSuite and the systems around it belong in the same conversation.
That is how we approach consulting: understand the work, compare the options and make the proposed change concrete enough for your team to question.
Bring us your first challengeFollow the record, not the department.
Implementation, integration and specialist applications are considered together. An approval, an order or a booking should not lose its meaning when it crosses a system boundary.
Choose the route before building it.
We assess configuration, existing products, SuiteApps and tailored work against the requirement. A smaller change can be the right answer when it solves the actual problem.
Test the exception as well as the promise.
Demonstrations, reconciliations and acceptance scenarios make decisions visible. The handover defines ownership for the work that continues after the project.
A CLEAR WAY TO BEGIN
From the first question
to a practical scope.
You do not need a finished ERP brief to start. You do need a business challenge worth understanding.
- 01
Bring the friction.
Describe the process, the systems involved and what should work better. Agree whether a focused review or wider discovery makes sense.
A useful starting question - 02
Make the choices clear.
In an agreed discovery scope, map local requirements, source records, owners and dependencies. Compare the solution routes and their boundaries.
A reviewable design direction - 03
Prove the first change.
Define the first release, the scenarios it must pass and how it will be handed over. Separate further opportunities from the work being committed.

QUESTIONS FROM YOUR SIDE OF THE TABLE
Let’s get
specific.
Useful answers before
a larger commitment.
Where should a Singapore regional finance review start?
Start with the entity structure and the transactions that cross it. Bring your group reporting requirements, close responsibilities and a recurring reconciliation problem. We use those inputs to separate group-wide design decisions from work that needs local finance review.
Can we improve intercompany and reporting without replacing the whole setup?
Yes, the review can focus on a defined process in an existing NetSuite account. We examine configuration, data quality, record references and interfaces before agreeing the change. A targeted improvement still needs reconciliation checks and clear acceptance criteria.
Does a NetSuite implementation automatically include InvoiceNow?
The solution route must be verified for your account and requirements. Invoice exchange, IRAS invoice-data submission and ongoing exception handling each need defined ownership. We assess the supported provider connection, required records and test scenarios before including them in the implementation scope.
What should we test in an InvoiceNow workflow?
Include the transactions your finance reviewers identify as in scope, along with credit notes, missing fields, rejected messages and corrections. Check how the source record relates to transmission status and the provider’s responses, and how unresolved items reach the responsible person.
How do we plan a rollout across several countries?
Agree the shared entity and reporting model, then review local requirements and integration dependencies by entity. The rollout sequence should reflect data readiness, operational risk and the availability of reviewers. Country-specific tax decisions and product compatibility are confirmed before the relevant configuration is committed.
